On the morning of January 9, 2017, Dean of the School of Economics and Resource Management as well as China Institute of Innovation Development of Beijing Normal University, Director of the China Office of UNIDO-UNEP Green Industry Platform, Guan Chenghua, Associate Professor of the School of Economics and Resource Management of Beijing Normal University, Zhao Zheng, and officials of Green Industry Platform such as Cheng Biru, Yue Hongfei visited the Beijing Volunteer Service Federation. Director Guo Xinbao, Minister Chen Guang and colleagues from the International Department received them and participated in the symposium.
First of all, Minister Chen Guang introduced the current situation of the development of Zhilian International Volunteer Service to President Guan Chenghua. Then, Director Guo put forward new expectations on the future cooperation between the Beijing Volunteer Service Federation and the green industry platform. He hopes that Beijing Volunteer Service Federation can use the green industry platform to encourage enterprises to take part in environmental protection volunteer service activities, and encourages enterprises to “go global” in the form of volunteer service and practice corporate social responsibility.
