Volunteer Service Economic Value Measurement Report to the experts and scholars present.
On April 28, 2017, the report“China Volunteer Service Value Survey” expert seminar was held successfully at Beijing Normal University. Professor Li Gan, Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Professor Shizhen Lu, President of Beijing Volunteer Service Research Development Institution(BVSRDI), Professor Yuanzhu Ding, Vice President of Beijing Volunteer Service Research Development Institution, Zuping Zhang, Deputy Director of Shanghai Normal University Charity and Volunteer Service Research Center, Professor Qiang Zhang from the School of Social Development and Public Policy of Beijing Normal University, Professor Chenghua Guan, Dean of the School of Economics and Resource Management of Beijing Normal University, Professor Qin Tu, Director of the Academic Committee of the School of Economics and Resource Management of Beijing Normal University, Associate Professor Yexin Zhou from the School of Economics and Resource Management of Beijing Normal University and other experts and scholars participated in the seminar and provided valuable opinions and suggestions for the "China Volunteer Service Value Measurement Report".
In order to understand the development of China's volunteer service accurately and measure the contribution of volunteer service to the economy and society, the China Volunteer Service Federation commissioned Beijing Normal University to carry out the research project of “China Volunteer Service Value Survey.

Professor Qin Tu introduced the data sources, measurement methods and basic results of the Volunteer Service Economic Value Measurement Report to the experts and scholars present.Professor Chenghua Guan proposed to establish a China Volunteer Service Data Center in the future and join other volunteer databases to form an online big data platform for volunteer services to promote more scientific and standardized development of China's volunteer services.
