Chinese Materia Medica Innovation and Resource Economics Research Center

Chinese Materia Medica Innovation and Resource Economics Research Center (CMMIRE) will strengthen the cooperation with State Environmental Protection Administration, Development Research Center of the State Council, Policy Research Department of the State Council, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, etc. Projects will be conducted, including the general survey of Chinese Materia Medica Resource, Biodiversity Conservation, and agricultural researches around the homology of medicine and food. In-depth researches will be carried out in two aspects. The first is the Chinese Materia Medica Economics. CMMIRE will improve and amend the book Chinese Medicinal Resources Economics and carry out the follow-up researches from microscopic view. The second is the biological geneticresources import and export. To start with Chinese medicinal resources, CMMIRE studies the biological genetic resources of agriculture, forestry and fishery, and conduct pioneering research from the perspectives of import and export status and value assessment.
