Center for Energy Policy Research

The guiding ideology of the Center for Energy Policy Research is to look at energy from a broader perspective and look at the economy based on energy resources. Its research emphasis is the energy economy and policies, industrial economy andpolicies, and the interaction between energy and industrial development.

The center has remarkable progress for the past few years. We formed a team dedicated to the research of issues about China's energy and industrial economy, carried out a series of research projects, published a series of research results, and closely cooperated with domestic and internationalinstitutions to form a particular social influence. Of all the results, the provincial and ministerial governments adopted nine research reports and stateleaders approved two suggestions. "China Energy Outlook 2030" earned the second prize of 2015 Outstanding Achievements in Soft Energy Science Research at the provincial and ministerial level. "Changes in energydemand during the 13th Five-Year Plan and its impact on power generation companies" won the first prize of the soft science research results of the former China Power Investment Corporation.
