Research Center of Behavioral and Experimental Economics (RCBEE) focuses on the use of Behavioral Economics theory and experimental economic methods[D1] , combined with Psychology, Common-pool Resource and Social Capital theories, utilizes random control trial (RCT), random household-level experiments, agent-based model (ABM) and questionnaires to study Scientific issues and major reality issues in social preferences, social capital, cooperation and environmental governance , etc. Currently, the main research directions are: (I)the basic issues of cooperation and preference; (II)the impact of social capital and preferences on environmental protection behavior; (III) the preferences of rural children (especially left-behind children) and related influencing factors, then establish a database of the rural children’s behavior experiment and the family. In the medium and long term, the center will carry out studies on anti-poverty experiments and policy effect evaluation and so on.
