From April 5th to April 7th, US Eastern Time, the "2018 Chinese Economists Society North America Conference" was held at the University of Georgia. Associate professor Zhou Yexin from the School of Economics and Resource Management participated in the annual meeting.
The annual conference is co-hosted by the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia, and the Chinese Economists Society. During the three-day meeting, more than 180 scholars from Stanford university, Pennsylvania State University, Brock University(Canada), University of London (UK), University of Gottingen (Germany), Paris School of Economics (France), Peking University, Southwest University of Finance and Economics, University of Jinan, and other well-known universities and scientific research units all over the world participate the conference.
Associate Professor Zhou Yexin introduced CGPis
On the afternoon of April 7, associate professor Zhou Yexin presided over a symposium on experimental economics. In the discussion, associate professor Zhou Yexin gave a report entitled "The Development of other-regarding Preferences in realistic: An Art factual Field Experiment based on Household Survey". The research was based on the experiments such as random sampling dictator game, collected experimental data of 320 subjects between the ages of 17 and 70 from Beijing and Chengdu, analyzed the subjects' preference distribution changes across age and gender differences, and tentatively explained the internal mechanism of the difference from the perspective of family life cycle theory such as income and time allocation.
