Abstract
The "China Urban Science and Technology Innovation Development Report 2017" is an annual series of reports jointly sponsored by the Capital Institute of Science and Technology Development Strategy, China Institute of Innovation and Development in Beijing Normal University, and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship School in Xihua University. Based on the research and summary of domestic and foreign science and technology innovation development strategies, the "China Urban Science and Technology Innovation Development Report 2017" builds the theoretical framework and indicator system of urban science and technology innovation development index, carries dynamically evaluation the progress of China's urban science and technology innovation development, analyses the main factors affecting the development of China's urban science and technology innovation, summarizes the experiences and shortcomings of China's cities in the process of innovation-driven development, and proposes solutions and policy recommendations for major strategic issues.
