Abstract:
The call for the government to make government information open to the public is not new till this Internet age，but the information technology represented by the Internet does facilitate and offer the opportunity for it． In the context of rapid development of e—government，the government information disclosure has presented new features and new problems as well．This paper highlights the effects of Internet—based information technology on the legislation and practice of government information disclosure， reviews the development of its legislation in recent years，and analyzes t11e motivating factors for its legislation and the bottlenecks in its implementation，and discusses some issues concerning the information disclosure in the era of e—government．
